Hello Everyone,
Davis Cards & Games is open for in-store shopping and our NEW website is coming along wonderfully. Thank you to everyone for your continued support, we greatly appreciate it.
There have been a lot of changes made around the store that we hope you are enjoying. We have increased our supplies of Miniatures & Paints to help support the miniature communities. All of us here at the store have been really involved in building and painting miniatures, so feel free to come on in to get some supplies and ask us any questions you might have.
Speaking of modeling, you should check out our new Gunpla section. We have a variety of Gundam models ranging from Haropla to Master Grade, and they are flying off the shelves. Our Top Minion has been hard at work to bring us a wonderful selection of Gundam Models and accessories straight from Japan.
In other Japan related news, we now have a large selection of beautiful Studio Ghibli ArtCrystal Puzzles to add to our already sizable puzzle collection. We are always on the hunt for great new jigsaw puzzles and are constantly getting new ones.
Unfortunately we are unable to host regular in-store events that we all love, and we are looking forward to when we can bring back our events, such as the always popular Board Game Night.
Until then we have we have been working hard to bring the community new types of events.
Our weekly online kids D&D games have been a massive success and we have recently expanded our online RPG offerings to a new weekly event for ages 15+. Our new Pathfinder 2nd edition drop-in RPG got of to a great start last week and we are looking into offering more RPGs for Adults and Kids in the near future.
We are pleased to announce that we have two new events that we are starting soon.
The first is Intro to Role Playing For Kids. This event will be held on 8/22/20 here at DCG, outside with masks and social distancing. In this, what we hope to be the first of many such classes, we will be teaching the basics of how to play RPGs and how to role play their characters in a fun and respectful manner.
The second is a weekly online PAINT NIGHT. More details will be coming soon. We are really excited about this one and have been working hard to make this happen.
